I want to change a part of the copy / paste function of the variable menu. When copying and pasting a variable, it will create a duplicate variable with a prefix “CopyOf…”. This is not good and does not follow the same convention as duplicated / copy pasted objects. The Objects will add 1,2, 3 etc. at the end which is good.
I am copy / pasting hundreds of variables and every time I have to remove the suffix. It is very unintuitive. It would be great to be able to either:
a. Set our own suffix or prefix of copy pasted or duplicated variables
b. change the copy pasted or duplicated variable prefix to be a suffix following a numbered convention
