Hey!
Lots of people recently (including myself) have started creating “Megathreads” or 1 singular post that we update, instead of making new posts for everything. That is why I’m requesting that a new Megathread category be made. In this category, the setting “Allow Unlimited Owner Edits On First Post” would be checked, as shown here:

Here are the reasons why this would be helpful for people making Megathreads:
Title Summary. People like to change the name of their post to show a quick, few word summary of what they have been up to recently. For example, my “Duck Game Megathread” was changed to “[RELEASE!] Duck Game Megathread” when the game released. This easily helps people know exactly what we are up to, without even opening the thread.
Keeping links updated. If the owner can edit their post whenever they want, they can easily keep links to their pages updated. Whenever they release a new build of the game, or a new devlog on itch, they can add or remove the links to keep them relevant.
Stopping Trolls. I know that GDevelop doesn’t want people to come back to the forum after a while, edit their helpful topics, and post spam. This megathread category actually prevents that since the only post they would be harming is pretty much a giant devlog of their game. Since the
“Allow Unlimited Owner Edits On First Post” would only be on for this category, they wouldn’t be able to edit their helpful topics in other category.
What do you think? Should GDevelop add this?
