As I understand GDevelop uses old Yarn Spinner as its version. However, how do I preview dialogues as if they are working correctly?
The preview system in Yarn Spinner is very laggy. It is not smooth and oftentimes gets stuck. Is there any alternative way to see yarnspinner dialogues?
Nevertheless, I found a workaround. Even if somewhat difficult.
Just install new yarnspinner extension on VS code, and open your yarn file from there (remember to put it in a folder, and selecting the entire folder rather than the file). Always remember to keep a backup of your original yarn file.
And when previewing, make sure to replace the [[]] with <<>> symbols (the modern syntax of yarn) in VS code. You might ask AI to replace the all [[]] with << >>. And once these syntaxes are replace. You could review easily in VS code.
