Private Lobbies and Lobby Settings for Multiplayer

Hi everyone!
First of all, thanks to the devs for the amazing work on the multiplayer extension — it’s already super promising.

I’d like to suggest a feature that I believe could be very useful for many developers using the built-in multiplayer tools:
:arrow_right: Private lobbies and customizable lobby settings.

Here’s what I mean:

The ability for a player to create a private lobby (with a unique code or invite link).

Set the maximum number of players allowed in that specific lobby.

Optionally, define some basic lobby parameters (game mode, map, difficulty, etc.).

Other players can join using a lobby code or invite, rather than relying on automatic matchmaking or public lobbies.

Why this would be useful:

Great for friends who want to play together without random players.

Useful for small games with variable player limits (e.g. 1v1, 2v2, or co-op with 4 players).

Encourages more flexible and user-friendly game design around multiplayer.

I know some of this could be implemented manually using events and global variables, but having some of these options natively supported would really streamline the process and help less experienced developers.

Thanks for reading, and I’d love to hear what the devs and the community think about this!

Cheers!
