I don’t really know whether to call this a bug report or a feature request but it’s bothered me for a long time.
In the object editor if we select Add a sprite from project resources, we have to single click on the image and then click on Select resource. Double clicking selects the image and then de-selects it. It would be better if we could just double click to select and accept, like we can with other things.
Hello Bubble,
Selecting a list element, then clicking the “accept” or “confirm” button is an interaction pattern across the whole app.
When you say “like we can with other things” are you talking about a different dialog in the app that doesn’t follow this standard, or are you talking about not-GDevelop-related softwares?
Hi Luni, I will have to take note of my experiences in GD tomorrow to fully answer your question. But, in general what I mean is that say we choose to get an image from files from your device instead of project resources then we can double click the image in the folder and it selects and opens it at the same time. I suppose some people do it the slow way and single click it and then click on Open but that’s the slow way. My request is so that GD also allows the fast way of double clicking a file in project resources so that it will select and open it all in one go.
