Rename and recognize new created objects

I understood that objects are archetypes within the scene.
If in an event I create “object 2” from “object 1”, can I rename the created object “object 2” to distinguish it from the original “object 1”?

It could be very useful.

No, each object instantiated for the same base object has the same name. In the action “Create object2 from object1”, object2 is the name of the object (as it appears in the editor) and object1 is the name of a group that has object2 as it’s member.
