there is Supermarket in my Become a Billionaire game in the market you can buy 2x boosters and Lucky blocks but using ads and. In Gd.games we can’t run ads using events.
In CrazygamesSDK extension you can run ads using some events. I need this
I’m a small creator from India. I don’t have support for ads or AdMob.
I made my dream game(Become a Billionaire [BETA] Available on gd.games)
Gd.games only shows ad on loading. If you add one small action “Show Gd.games ad” in events, we can show ad on Game Over / Level Complete and in shop. We can earn a little and prove that
GDevelop can change life.
Please brother, this one feature can help thousands of creators like me who can’t add AdMob due to age restriction and no family support. We trust only http://gd.games.
Which advertising network do you want to use? I can try to create an extension for this, but I’m not sure it will work, and I don’t know which advertising network to use.
But I don’t know if there’s an advertising network that allows minors to register.
I think this would be a useful addition, especially for games that use rewarded ads for optional boosts or extra rewards. Being able to trigger an ad directly through events would give developers more control over when ads appear and make it easier to connect them with existing gameplay systems. A simple event such as “Show rewarded ad” with success/failure conditions could be quite practical.
i really dont like games like this that use ads normally, but if this were added, id actually like it. it would give me full control over it, and would make it super easy. itd actually be kinda revolutionary
If you want ads in your games, there are extensions from platforms like CrazyGames or PlayGama that handle that.
I did propose changes to gd.games, but changes to gd.games are not currently reviewed actively nor a priority for the team.
Everyone is occupied with the extension tab, UI QoL, and AI, because after all, even if people complain, everyone uses it and there is very strong demand. In the coming months, the 2D editor overhaul will arrive, unlocking real-time visualization for effects, spritesheets (maybe in the same time as GTA VI, maybe not), and other properties within the editor. The only change planned is to add a “Remix this game” button on games that have their template for sale on the store; the rough roadmap is : polish, robustness, and revenue that can increase the team member count to develop again more and more.
