Scale sprites based on rotation

When you try to resize a rotated shape in the scene editor, it scales evenly in both directions. If you want to change the aspect ratio of the sides, you need to set the angle back to zero. You might not want to deform a shape but you might need to resize a tiled sprite.



What I’m suggesting is a system like most if not all vector drawing programs have where the sizing handles rotate with the object. You’re usually also able to switch between the 2 methods either with a toggle or a keyboard modifier like [alt] or [ctrl]


It would work the same on all objects like a tiled sprite
