ScaleX and ScaleY for Physics

There is a shape scale action for the Physics 2.0 behavior, but I need to scale the width of the shape without scaling its height (thickness, in my case).
Is it possible, or do I need to figure another way out?
These are two physics objects, the bar is resized in-game.

This is necro, but I have the exact same need right now !
Is there any solution, even through JS ?

(However if I read correctly the wiki, that “scale” action mentionned is not about the size on the screen, but the size of the physical simulation, ie how quick it will accelerate…)
