(Solved) Create like a fast tapping game

Hello everyone,

I’m a bit unsure how to explain this, so please bear with me. I’m trying to create a fast-tapping game where tapping the blue circle makes a red line extend along a bar.

When the tapping stops, the red line shortens and eventually resets to zero.

Additionally, I wanted the animation for the green circle to start when the red bar reaches a certain length, and for this animation to stop and reset when the red bar returns to zero. I feel like I know how to do this animation part, but I’m stuck with the red bar tapping etc.

If anyone has any ideas on how to achieve this, I would be extremely grateful.

Here’s a visualization of what I wish to achieve.



Use a variable to keep track of, and set, the red bar length. Use an event to reduce the variable value by a set decrease amount * TimeDelta(). The decrease amount will be how much you want to reduce the value of the variable every second.

In the tap event, increase the variable value by another set amount.

This is what I did. This works but does this look ok? Or is there a more efficient way to do this?
