[SOLVED] Error: object used in wrong behaviors or conditions

How do I…

Tween opacity

What is the expected result

tweening

What is the actual result

It’s tweening alright, but
there’s an error : object used in wrong behaviors or conditions.

I don’t understand. It seems I’ve set everything up correctly.

Hey!
Have you added the “Tween” behaviour to the object you are wanting to tween?

I think so.
Add actin > select object > select tween to opacity.

One of the parameters says “Behavior” and it’s filled with “Tween” automatically and can’t be change to anything else.

Alright.
Could you send some photos of your events & where it shows the error?
By the way, forgot to say earlier, Welcome to the GDevelop forum!

Thank you

Anyway, suddenly the error doesn’t appear anymore.
Does gdevelop has somekind of cache?

Not sure what a cache is
Guess I’m not as experienced as you are in game development. Anyways, happy you got your game working! If you can give more detail, I might be able to help, otherwise someone else on the forum will definitely know what a cache is.

I’m far from an experienced game developer. I’m more of a renderer and a story teller. And I don’t like coding, as my brain can’t digest it. I got lost easily and forgot why I made certain piece of code. That’s why I try Gdevelop. Right now, I’m following a tutorial to get to know Gdevelop.

Got it.
I personally enjoy coding, but still find GDevelop to be the best game engine I’ve tried so far!
It’s very easy-to-use and still very detailed!
If there is anything else you need help with, feel free to let me know and I’ll try my best to help!
(I changed your topic title to include [SOLVED]!)
