(Solved) Save/Load animation

Good day everyone!

When the animation of Wiz = “WithoutWand”, Neu, my character, can then go through the portal (Next scene). But, when I go back to the previous scene Wiz’s animation goes back to default. Anyone has any idea how to save/load animation?

First of all it looks good to me as far as your save/load events - except of course no Trigger Once on your Save events has caused a slight disturbance to my mental health. I did test it out because I have never just saved 1 single value and I thought there may be a bug in GDevelop but it worked fine.

Can any of save actions happen at the same time? For instance can Neu collide with Wiz when his animation is NoWand? What is the ChangeScene collision, does it make the player change scenes?

I’m sorry for the mental disturbance. I’m still new to all this :pleading_face:.

The condition for changing scene is when Neu collides with Wiz (Which results to animation “WithoutWand”) AND collides with CollisionDetectionChangeScene. Wiz has to change animation before going to the CollisionDet… then next scene. If that make sense

Maybe the CollisionDetection is the last thing happening in the scene before moving on to the next one so 4 gets overwritten by 2. If so maybe for Position = 2 then change Neu position to x y and change Wiz animation to NoWand.

I am not sure it will work because there can still be times when more than one save event is happening at a time, but anyway you get the idea and can tweak it how you like it.
