Well, apparently when i think your point is dumb i am the bad guy but you can call my point stupid???
Anyways, Sure, it can have a advantage for SOME games. Yes, your calculator game doesn’t look unfinished, but you set the setting to “Update the games resolution”. This isn’t on by default. The point SnowyRawrGamer was making was to have this on be default.
Also, Executor | Play on gd.games is a perfect example.
Since the game is cropping the game, it isn’t able to load the rest of the bottom buttons.
You need to enter fullscreen to even be able to see some of the buttons. The game is cropping the scene so much it isn’t even showing the full buttons. Now enabling No changes to the game size would show the entire game, including the full buttons.
You want to argue with someone then get used to it

Snowy wants some option to be on by default well some need to be on by default

Edit: still doesn’t work. Just got a new laptop to test it and it still looks scuffed.
