Little backstory, in my game, when you press spacebar, you shift into reality B, which is the one where the player goes all negative. Pressing spacebar again will shift you back to reality A. I literally copied the code directly over from the laser spikes, yet they only work when in reality B (the blue spikes.) when in reality A (where the spikes are red, they never change animation.)
How do I…
I want to make the animation 2x as fast when the spikes are blue, (already working), and half as fast when the spikes are red (not working at all)
What is the expected result
Spikes should activate at normal speed, then go idle, then retract when red, and do the same (in double speed) when blue.
What is the actual result
They are in double speed when blue, but they don’t do ANYTHING when red. im not exactly sure why ‘almost’ the exact same code works for the blue spikes, but not for the red.
