hello everyone, it’s been a long time since I published my game on the google play store, recently I recived the mail of the google play console warning me about the API level of my game that i have to update to 33 before 31 August, I did update Gdevelop to the latest version because i know that it solves the problem for new games that aren’t published yet but what about a game that is already exsisting on the google play store, what should I do ?
pls if anyone have any idea help me, it’s very important for me because it’s my first game
and thanks in advance
If you click View Details in the message on your console, scroll to the bottom and you will see a button to Request More Time. That should give you spare time to upload your new version and await change approval.
Hopefully you still have access to your game file that you can open in GDevelop? Couldn’t you just open it in GDevelop, change the version number in an appropriate manner, rebuild it and update the one in your play console dashboard? Not terribly sure, I do mine manually so not sure but assuming the autobuild can be done the same way.
thanks for replying Lucky-j, if I did understand you right , you mean that uploading a new version of the game should solve the problem , is that what you’r saying ?
Yes upload it as you normally would upload an update for the game.
