I’m kinda new to gdevelop (I used it back then but just stopped). Anyways, I need help text input and calendar being save. Like the system in this one where you can add a task and save the text, (only difference is I want mine to be offline or save to storage)

Techinally, you don’t to make preset texts but rather save what the player input the txt in another variable make sure it’s text variable and save and load. You can also change the texts them selves depending what you want and the player had saved in the text input
Hey! For saving tasks offline, definitely look into the Storage events. A common trick is to save your text to a Global Variable first, and then save that variable to storage. That way, you can easily use the text across different scenes in your app without it disappearing.

Yeah that too, you can do this inside the variable is going to be saved like this. TheTXT1.Text() + TheTXT2.Text() the variable must be text variable to be saved. (I’m guessing you meant 2 different input txts and save them in 1 variable)
However if you’re trying to like save and show. For example coins, bullets left, you just save the variable it’s self. Since it’s the only thing that’s being changed n used, and for the text you then just put the variable in there and leave it.

uhm this is what ive been working on, so uh RPG and checklist combined. When the player did the task and check it their exp goes up, if not then their health goes down
You’re not doing anything currently. All the event doing is changes the txt box to empty and some things being hidden. Since you’re new, i suggest making simple platform games, and try to learn the events and slowly your vision and your game idea will come together
oh slr, I actually post a new one, with progress. Been able to create text, gave it a limit and the text inputs been fixed and organize. Thanks a lot for your help tho. The thing is I have a new problem now
