While having the built-in Yarn editor using the Dialogue Tree extension is a nice option, this integration is extremely creaky, and some of the GDevelop documentation for it is a bit outdated. This is largely due to GDevelop using bondage.js to parse Yarn scripts, but bondage.js is only compatible with the original Yarn. Yarn 2.0 (Yarn Spinner) is much more feature-robust, and while it is almost like a different tool entirely from yarn, the Yarnbound project has been successful in updating bondage.js to support the new system. It would be excellent if we could have this integration, as it would make working with dialogue much less trial-and-error than on the current system. Anyone know if this is possible or in the pipeline?
