Using the new GD physics engine

Just having trouble with hitboxes using new 3D physics. I have a ball and a character and for some reason the hitboxes aren’t aligning with object models. I would just wondering if there is a way to set the collision shape to the object size ingame because the objects do not have hitboxes as they look, the character is going inside the ball. Problem is i dont know which hitbox is messed up because it could be either. Both objects are sized up so i dont know if thats an issue.
