Variable in yarn dialogue not working

Does anyone know why this isint working? The dialogue generally works, but the @player_name@ is not replaced by anything.

Wondering if it’s possible to let the player choose their own name and have the dialogue refer to them as said custom name. I feel like there’s a little work around it but I don’t know. Could this be possible?

It worked for me using these really simple dialogue actions.

It was pretty fun and an impressive workaround to the limitation of yarn.

I didn’t try it with stopping dialogue so maybe you have to stop it first then do the rest? Also I used the new variable system of just typing the variable name.
