What are your PC specs?

My HP OMEN Laptop recently died, I think :melting_face: and I have to buy a new computer.
So it made me wonder what computers most Gdevelop creators are using since Gdevelop ain’t really that resource heavy.

Mine used to be this
CPU: Intel Core i7-10750H
GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060S
RAM: 64GB (2x32GB) corsair vengeance DDR4 SODDIM
Time owned: Around 4 years

If you can also showcase some heavy projects that you did on it it would be cool just to compare.

I’ve been using it to animate and draw 2D, video/photo editing, graphic design, 3D sculpting and I used to play a lot of games on it. (Before I decided to focus more on creating games)

Personally, I use a Mac from 2020, which I know is not the answer anyone is looking for when asking about computers :smile:

What is your problem with your Laptop?

Otherwise, i used it essentially for creating games with GD and displaying films from the Web.

@Sharxxy Stay strong bro, year ago when I first started animating, I use to animate with a 1GB RAM msi pc and my mouse. Things do get better :laughing:

@RMDB

RAM: 128gb corsair vengeance DDR4

That is a lot of ram! Genuinely curious, what are you using it for?

@Amigo54
It first started freezing out of nowhere and I had to forcefully shut it down. Afterwards it would freeze during boot up, then freeze during safe more. Finally it just turned off with no sign of life. The charging light won’t even show when I plug the charger. I tried many solutions but with no luck so far.

I had 64, then after losing my personal war with Blender, I moved to 128.

Hi @Digitalstickmans!

It seems to be an electric problem. Either the batteries or the alimentation bloc.

It’s my main development program. I used to use it to animate complex scenes. For GDevelop, I’m using it for single subjects.
