YSort working with tiled Sprites?

Does anyone know if the YSort extension will work with tiled sprite objects? If so, is there a different way to use it compared to normal sprite objects? It doesn’t seem to work for me.

If I place the normal sprite object down it works, but not tiled sprites.

What I was wanting to do was have a wall tile that can be placed horizontally only. I know that having a vertical tiled object would probably complicate things.

My problem is with a paneled brick wall. I just used a solid-colored grey “sprite” (normal) object for the collision mask, because paneled sprites don’t have those. I have my own problem though: how is the y-order of panel sprites measured? They don’t have points. Thus I cannot, as was mentioned in another thread, make sure the origin point are lower.
