A similar request exists already. Please hed to Simplify opacity values to 1 or 2 measurements, not 3 to vote and comment.

- What would you like to request: I want te opacity to work consistently between the instance editor (where it appears in percentage) and in the event editor (where it appears in 0-255 values).
- Why you are requesting it: Opacity is a simple way to identify an instance. It stores information (that can be used for many purposes) and can be used to further adjust visuals. In my specific case I am doing a prefab that changes other aspects of the instance depending on the opacity. At this moment, as the opacity is in % in the instance editor, I do not know its equivalent into 0-255 scale. Yes, I could calculate; but no, it does not make sense to have the same parameter be a percentage in one part of the engine, and a 0-255 value in a different part of it. It is an issue that has workarounds, but those are just additional steps that would not be necessary if the engine was consistent.
I know this is something very small and it does not break the engine in any way, but please consider it. Thank you very much. ![]()
