I was wondering if and why does the generate link not play a music file? It has my other sound effect such as my character jumping but not playing a music file?
Can you give a screen snip of the events you are using for this?

Gdevelop says you have to interact with the game before the music will start on the web. They recommend creating a start screen with a button to start the game. That solved the problem for me
You could also just click really fast during the loading transition if you didn’t want to make the start screen
