What's your score on Wordle?

Well done ES. A frustrating one for me too, MrMen.

Wordle 330 5/6

Care to explain what you do; as in which clicks you make - the where and when of the clicks?

Do you mean for the normal activities of chopping trees and returning axes or anything I might have tried with the potentially useful objects previously mentioned?

Just the sequence of clicks you do to retrieve the axes.

BTW, the bushes, rocks and flowers are just decoration. Barrels and crates use up one of your axes, and have to be avoided.

I was getting quite anxious at the end here :

:yellow_square::green_square::yellow_square::black_large_square::green_square:
:green_square::green_square::green_square::green_square::green_square:

Oh no MrMen, that was close. I’m annoyed with myself for completely missing what the second letter was in a case of your pet peeve. I’d been wasting my peeve thinking that it applied to the first letter.

Yeah, it’s frustrating. Still, 4 isn’t a bad result by any stretch of the imagination. I’ve managed to balance out the average from yesterday’s debacle :

Wordle 332 3/6*

:black_large_square::black_large_square::black_large_square::green_square::yellow_square:
:black_large_square::green_square::green_square::green_square::black_large_square:
:green_square::green_square::green_square::green_square::green_square:

The blue numbers show how many axes were left after completing each area.
Area sequence:
right, bottom, middle, upper left

The red numbers show my clicking sequence in top left corner
enemy left, enemy right, left stump - both trees cut down, then clicks to return axes

And therein lies your problem.

Explanation why, but not the solution

Left enemy fires axe that hits right enemy and is destroyed as right enemy already has axe stuck in them.

Click order spoiler

It should be right enemy, left stump, right stump x 3, left stump x2, left enemy (and possible then right enemy)

First time playing, still not quite sure what I’m doing, but I think I guessed it right? lol

Beginners luck, or just a natural? Time will tell :grin:

3/6 is a really good result. If you ever played MasterMind the game, then consider this the word version of it.

Welcome convictedweirdo, not only is 3/6 very good but it looks like you earned it, as in you didn’t get lucky with your first guess. However, you had a correctly placed (green) letter and an incorrectly placed (yellow) letter in your first guess. But you didn’t use the yellow letter in your second guess. While that can be a strategy to try a greater number of new letters, it’s also a missed opportunity if you’re aiming for a low score.

This one was a toughie for me.

That was a close one, must have been a relief when you had it :yum:

Very nice first try, but don’t forget about hard mode :innocent: Bubble has already left the hard mode scene, we can use another “real” player :slight_smile: (just kidding @Bubble haha :heart: I know you still play by the rules)

Had to think about this one because of that locked letter, sometimes geting all greys is better.

My 7 year old is into wordle junior. 4 letter word, 7 attempts, with a letter reveal.

So I gave it a go (hard mode, no reveal).

And failed - I got beaten by a 7 year old :

You will have a bright kid in the future, I wish I had been introduced to things like this when I was younger. My brain nowadays just ruined this children’s wordle by making it vulgar.

NSFW

Rape

It’s good that the sensible part of my brain knew that words like that are probably delisted so I chose correctly.
